Ready to give aspiring filmmakers a chance to see the ins and outs of crowdfunding, global platform Kickstarter has announced its upcoming workshops and discussions for film campaigning.
The crowdfunding giant’s team explained,”Kickstarter has played a pivotal role in uniting audiences and filmmakers. Since it launched in 2009, people all over the world have pledged over $250 million to support independent filmmakers and create incredible new films.”
The events are the following:

- January 15th: Kickstarter for Filmmakers 101 Getting Started – 5 P.M New York, NY
- January 15th: Kickstarter for Filmmakers 201 Audience Development – 6 P.M. New York, NY
- January 15th: Kickstarter for Filmmakers 301 Rewards and Fulfillment – 7 P.M. New York, NY
- January 20th: Talking Shop An Evening with Hal Hartley – 7 P.M. New York, NY
- January 29th: Talking Shop On Film Restoration – 7 P.M. New York, NY
