Electronic payment solution MyECheck has contracted with Chicago based truCrowd for its e-check payment service. truCrowd describes itself as the “first funding portal for non-accredited investors”. truCrowd is focusing on Title III of the JOBS Act which is the portion of the bill that legalizes equity crowdfunding for anyone up to $1 million. Final rules on Title III have remained in limbo for several years now but expectations are that regulations will be affirmed at some point this year.
MyECheck’s services is described at enabling transactions of any size, from $0.01 to over $10,000,000, are highly secure, process in real time, clear the same day, and cost $0.25 or less. MyECheck is publicly traded on the OTC Pink Sheets (MYEC). The provided services operate under a patented process. MyECheck states existing customers include corporations, retailers, financial institutions and more.
