I have to admit I am pretty impressed by the profound creativity and degree of entrepreneurship that is percolating in Israel these days. This small nation of a 8.2 million certainly plays in the big leagues even if it does not have the size of other free market economies. Â Israel has claimed the title of “StartUp Nation”. Â In looking at the results from this past week – it is certainly hard to argue that claim. Â According to the report there was $140 million in startup funding plus $770 million in acquisitions all in a single week. Not too bad for the first month of the year.
