Keeping the excitement of the Super Bowl XLIX alive, fans of singing sensation, Katy Perry, have taken to Indiegogo in an effort to get their very own Super Bowl halftime show shark suit.
Adding some fun with his charity efforts, environmentalist David Lam launched a campaign on the crowdfunding giant earlier this week to raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund, Wildlife Conservation Society and renewable energy nonprofits.
Those who back the project will receive various rewards, including shark stickers, shark suit, and even a replica shark suit that’s ready-made. Lam stated that 100% of the profits will be donated to the organizations.
During an interview with the Independent, Lam added that his expertise in procurement means he can “perform the due diligence necessary to find us the best manufacturer that will provide the best value” for the costumes.
Since its launch, the project has raised well over its initial goal of $5,000 and is currently at nearly $25,000 thanks to its 411 backers. It is set to close on March 4th.
