NSR Invest, a managed account investment platform that provides peer-to-peer (P2P) investment tools to financial advisors, today launched a new generation of software that will allow financial advisors to easily establish and manage separate Lending Club investment accounts on behalf of NSR Invest’s clients through Lending Club Open Integration (LCOI).
Further, NSR Invest is integrating with leading portfolio management systems and data aggregation services so that financial advisors can track, view and report on p2p portfolios using their current tools and processes.
NSR Invest’s third generation of software is built to serve the needs of financial advisors, particularly independent Registered Investment Advisers and Certified Financial Planners, who have unique reporting and custodial needs.
Michael Phillips, co-Founder and Chief Architect of NSR Invest, stated:
“We’ve led the industry in a long series of firsts, beginning back in 2011 when we developed the first-ever independent third-party analytics and investment tool for Lending Club investors. We are building an essential solution for financial advisors who want intelligent access to investment opportunities across the p2p landscape.”
NSR Invest’s proprietary loan selection and order management system sets the standard for stability, speed and responsiveness, noted Phillips.
Demand is surging for the emerging category of peer-to-peer or marketplace lending as a fixed-income alternative due to its attractive yield and low correlation to traditional asset classes. Bo Brustkern, Co-Founder & CEO of NSR Invest added:
“NSR Invest and Lending Club are natural partners. Retail investors are yield-starved, and so they are naturally attracted to the p2p asset class. With NSR Invest, financial advisors find much greater ease in building p2p loan portfolios for their clients. By solving portfolio construction, management, custody and reporting obstacles, NSR Invest provides a gateway for millions of retail investors to access p2p though an investment sleeve within a managed portfolio.”
