The loan is secured on company assets (namely anaerobic digestion equipment) as well as carrying a personal guarantee from the directors. Lenders will receive 11% per annum in interest, paid monthly, and the loan is amortizing.

On Ablrate, which launched in July 2014, investors have access to financing opportunities ranging from the highly regulated aircraft leasing space to capital equipment transactions that provide investors with good security and higher returns. They can invest as little as £100 to start with, and will receive their interest monthly into their account.
