AssetAvenue Hires New Chief Technology Officer

Douglas SellersAssetAvenue has announced the hiring of Douglas Sellers as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  Sellers will be responsible for leading all of AssetAvenue’s technology initiatives and developing the product roadmap to launch new products and features for users of the company’s edge online real estate lending platform.

Most recently, Sellers was CTO at Kumu Wellness, a product that allows clients to receive personal, affordable, mobile Wellness Coaching.  Prior to Kuma, Sellers was CTO and Co-founder at Redline.cc, a visual bug tracker that was acquired by Usersnap, and CTO of GOOD Worldwide, where he was recruited to build a product and technology organization and transition GOOD’s technology from publishing a media-based magazine to supporting an online social network with millions of users dedicated to advancing social causes.

Sellers said that AssetAvenue was leveraging technology to improve upon a “traditionally slow lending process”.

David Manshoory, CEO and co-founder of AssetAvenue, explained that Sellers was arriving at a “crucial period during the company’s growth”.

“He will be instrumental in helping the company scale its underwriting capabilities and loan volume with the use of technology to streamline the current lending process while creating a better experience for borrowers and brokers to get a loan,” stated Manshoory.
