Just a couple months after, Tilt announced that it has joined forces with the music group, The Chainsmokers for the #TiltTour, the crowdfunding platform has officially kicked off the fan-sourced tour with its first stop at University of Connecticut (UCONN).
The platform revealed that any accredited undergraduate institution, excluding online universities, located within the contiguous U.S. are eligible for the #TiltTour. The first six schools that pre-sell 800 tickets will become an official stop of the event.
Tilt previously stated:
“The Chainsmokers wanted to create the first-ever fan-sourced tour and bring their music to where their fans are. College students across the nation will act together on Tilt to bring their favorite artist to their city. The first six cities to pre-sell 800 tickets will get a concert. The #TiltTour is all about following your fans and performing where the demand is.”
Tilt also noted:
“Once you find your school’s tilt, make sure to use the INVITE feature on the tilt to get ALL of your friends to come along. It’s a race! The first six schools to pre-sell 800 tickets will win a spot. As an added bonus, if your school is one of the winners and you are one of the top 5 referrers, we’ll upgrade your ticket(s) to VIP.”
The show, which has since sold out, is available for those over the age of 18. Check out some pictures from the UCONN visit below.
