Co-founder and former CTO of FundedByMe, Arno Smit, has taken on a new role at the investment crowdfunding platform. Smit will now be the lead manager of investor relations as registered members now number over 65,000 individuals. In his place, FundedByme has hired Daniel Wahlqvist, described as a former music industry entrepreneur turned computer engineer, as Chief Technology Officer. FundedByMe, a global platform, will be recruiting new IT/Dev staff to help power their platform growth. The company also stated it will partner with an outsourcing firm as well.
Wahlqvist commented on his new appointment;

FundedByMe offers capital through both equity and loans. Approximately 440 companies from 25 different countries have been successfully funded with more than €18,7 million. Registered members are from over 176 different countries. FundedByMe is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden but has a local presence in Singapore, Malaysia and Finland.
