Menswear Label Percival Looks to Raise £250,000 on Crowdcube For London Growth

Percival, a London-based menswear label, has recently launched a Crowdcube initiative to raise £250,000 as it continues to growth its presence in England’s capital. The company, which started trading in 2010, has received recognition for its fashion designs and backing from celebrities, including British model, Alexa Chung.

Percival 2“Our designs are intended for everyday use by young and older gents alike. We intend for the wearer to develop a connection with their Percival jacket and for it to last through seasons.”

The company noted it started out selling its clothing mainly online and also in other menswear shops throughout the city. In December 2012, Percival opened its flagship store in Berwick Street, Soho.

“Since opening [the store], the business has gone from strength to strength, but we want to build on our recent progress and expand the business into the wholesale market. We constantly receive interest from a number of the top stores in the UK and around Europe, and your investment will allow us to pursue these avenues and stock our collections in some of the best stores out there!”

Other achievements include:

  • Dressed several actors and musicians, including Stephen Fry and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The company noted:

“Now, we are seeking to move into the wholesale market while pushing retail revenue further by investing in trade show attendance, larger sample sets, online marketing an e-commerce consult and store refurb.”

Funds from the campaign will be mainly used for stock, marketing, website functionality, and shop re-fit. The company is offering 26.32% equity during the campaign, which is set to close at the beginning of August.
