Brief: JustPark Named Winner of the Guardian Small Business’ Innovation In Funding Award

Last week, Crowdcube #FundedClub member JustPark was dubbed winner of the Guardian Small Business’ Innovative in Funding Award. The finalists of this year’s awards gathered on Thursday to celebrate the achievements of UK’s small businesses.

JustPark shared the exciting news on Twitter over the weekend:

JustPark, formerly Parkatmyhouse.com, is a website and app that allows private parking space holders to rent their space. The company raised a record-breaking £3.7 million with the backing of 2916 investors purchasing 15.61% equity in the firm in 34 days on Crowdcube.

The company previously won Richard Branson’s Pitches to Rich competition in the Grow Category last year and has teamed up with traffic and navigation app Waze to create its brand new Android app earlier this year.
