DreamFunded Comments on Receiving Funding Portal Approval Under Title III

DreamFunded has added its name to the growing roster of crowdfunding platforms approved by FINRA/SEC to operate a funding portal under Title III of the JOBS Act.  Title III or Reg CF allows companies to raise up to $1 million from non-accredited and accredited investors alike. The new security exemption became actionable this past May and has since experienced diverse utilization from a wide range of companies seeking growth capital.  DreamFunded had been operating as an accredited crowdfunding platform under Reg D.

Manny FernandezDreamFunded co-founder and CEO Manny Fernandez explained;

“It was a long and difficult road, but with the team we have, I had no doubt we’d get here. Now we’ll be able to help entrepreneurs fund their dreams which has always been DreamFunded’s purpose.”

Fernandez’s partner, co-founder Rexford Hibbs called it a historic day for their platform.

“I can’t wait to get started and help some awesome companies raise money. There are a lot of them out there, great companies who just don’t have access to the proper networks.”

DreamFunded states it is accepting applications now to raise capital online.
