On Friday, SEC-registered equity crowdfunding platform, Jumpstart Micro, announced it has officially opened and debuted three offerings for Axe Digital, TravelBook App, and Treycent. This launch comes just a few months after Title III of the Jobs Act went officially into effect.
Offering up details about the new funding portal, president of Jumpstart Micro, Stephen Catanzano, stated:
“We’re truly excited to announce these first projects to the public, each doing something new and innovative in a different industry. We play a unique role in helping to bring entrepreneurs and investors together through our portal in a whole new way. Equity crowdfunding is not only about raising money; it’s about getting market validation, fostering new ideas, creating jobs and inspiring innovations.”
Jumpstart Micro also shared details about the three newest equity crowdfunding investment opportunities:
- Axe Digital Guitar (Columbus, OH): Described as a fantasy guide designed to allow users play their favorite guitar tunes within a few minutes without ANY musical training. The company is currently seeking funds to begin production and look into technology licensing.
- TravelBook App (New York City, NY): This mobile social media platform is dedicated to travelers and users can meet and get in touch with others who share the same destinations to discuss details about the area, advice, photos and make friends. Funds from the campaign will be used for marketing efforts, enhancing existing iOS app and build Android version.
- Treycent (Sarasota, FL): This app gives users a chance to retrieve their person photos, notes and frequently used web pages simply by voice command through their smartphone, smartwatch, or computer. The company is looking to expand marketing efforts to increase downloads and continue to build its user base.
