Finland-based fashion brand, Marita Huurinainen officially launched its new Invesdor campaign to secure a minimum of €100,000 (max €400,000) for company expansion. The company made a name for itself after creating its ethical fur and leather concept, WILD, and its patented wooden design shoe, WAVE. It previously launched a crowdfunding campaign on FundedByMe and raised 171,597 from 106 investors.
Marita Huurinainen is a fashion and lifestyle brand that offers ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, and shoes. The company revealed that in 2013, the company’s namesake, Marita Huurinainen, met with Andreas Jank to introduce the WILD furs and WAVE shoe concepts. Andreas was notably immediately convinced about Huurinaine’s products and the duo established the brand later that year. Since then, the company’s products have developed, becoming highly successful internationally. It currently has customers across Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

Since its launch, the campaign has successfully secured over half its initial goal. It is set to close mid-October.
