This week, Indiegogo announced the release of its new Campaign Marketing Workbook. The global crowdfunding platform stated the new workbook helps project creators organize all of the key stakeholders in their project along with set a strategy and schedule for when to reach out to them and what to say.
“[The workbook is] a handy tool for writing down all of the people in your network and figuring out who can help bring both backers and awareness to your project. It will also provide the structure to help build your team of superhero supporters and reach the people that can generate excitement around your project. You’d be surprised at who in your network could be a big help. Some people have media contacts, business connections, or have a really deep passion for your project that you may not know about.”
The Workbook offers tips for the following:

- How to build a host committee
- How to target different groups with different messages
- How to get personal with backers
- How to show gratitude to those who support your campaign
The Workbook will have worksheets for strategic communication information; templates for media, business, supporters lists; and outreach email tips.
