OFIXU hit its fundraising goal on Seedrs with a goal of about £75,000 (just over $91,000) to build out its sales and marketing teams. The campaign hit its mark well before its deadline around mid-February.
OFIXU calls itself the “Airbnb for workspaces”, allowing commercial office renters to lease out spaces for anywhere between a single day to four years. The platform also offers single desks and meeting rooms to rent out, as well.

Under the slogan “The world is your office”, OFIXU is challenging the WeWork model. Rather than tie clients to a subscription, OFIXU says that it frees them by offering space for even just a day.
“There’s a general lack of instantly available workspace so people are resorting to public places. It takes too long to search for convenient and affordable work space. Serviced and managed office spaces are expensive and there is a general lack of flexibility for short-term contracts.
OFIXU is building the World’s largest online marketplace allowing hosts of any surplus commercial space (desk, office, floor or entire building) to list and rent out their space to those that need a place to work.
