Invesdor’s Lasse Mäkelä Reports: Money Invested & Average Campaign Round Size on Crowdfunding Platform Doubled in 2016 (Infographic)

Invesdor’s CEO Lasse Mäkelä announced on Wednesday that it a great 2016 and revealed during the past twelve months, funds invested and the average campaign round size on its equity crowdfunding platform doubled from the previous year.

The 2016 numbers reveal comes just a couple weeks after Invesdor announced €25 million has been invested through its equity crowdfunding platform. Among the millions invested on its funding portal, Invesdor included funds from its recent crowdfunding campaign, which raised €1.2 million this past summer. The company’s previous offering successfully funded in just six days and achieved €1 million from 143 investors, from 16 different countries.

Invesdor also released an infographic that showed the numbers from 2012-2016. The crowdfunding platform was founded in 2012 and has since expanded into other products and markets. It currently offers both debt and equity for domestic and international issuing firms and last year, it received a Europe-wide Markets in Financial Instruments Directive or “MiFID” investment firm license
