International finance center Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) announced on Monday it formed a partnership with Temenos for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Fintech Innovation Jam, which will take place on March 7th. The event will notably showcase innovative software for financial institutions through 14 fast-paced, 7-minute demos.
While sharing details about last year’s event, Temenos stated:
“In 2016, Temenos had an impressive 58 fintechs, from over 17 countries around the world, compete in the regional heats. The final, featuring two winners from each regional event, took place at TCF and was won by KERV and their contactless payment ring.”
Speaking about the partnership and the upcoming event, Richard Teng, CEO of the Financial Regulatory Services at ADGM, commented:
“The partnership with Temenos is a further testament of ADGM’s commitment in developing a dynamic and sustainable FinTech ecosystem for financial and FinTech participants in Abu Dhabi and regionally. Temenos will be holding five innovation jam events in 2017.
