Until now, they’ve had to endure the inconvenience and high fees from visiting offline money transfer agents. Now with the WorldRemit app, they have a simple, convenient and safe way to send money to their local communities.”

Elena Gafarova, vice-president for international development at CONTACT system, added:

“We are filled with enthusiasm to spread our joint service with WorldRemit to the other popular remittances directions with a vast CONTACT network. Now, more people from CIS countries are able to enjoy sending money using advanced digital and mobile technologies like the WorldRemit app. Our service is a great opportunity to show off the advantages of digital remittances technologies in cash-dominated areas”.
