Shark Tank Alum PolarPro Launches Third Kickstarter: Seeks $55,000 For Battery-Powered Headphone Case “The WAVe”

On Wednesday, Shark Tank alum and developer of products inspired by adventure, PolarPro, launched its third crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The California startup is seeking $55,000 for its battery-integrated wireless headphone carrying case, WAVe.

WAVe is described as a charge-and-travel storage that keeps user’s wireless headphones protected and fully charged. The product comes in two design styles:

  • Universal: Features low-profile design for fold-flat styled headphones such as Bose Sound-Link and QuiteComfort
  • Contoured: Meets the needs of folding headphones such as Beats’ Solo and Studio.

PolarPro noted that each model of the WAVe case features an integrated 3000 mAh rechargeable battery to power most wireless headphones up to 10 times before needing to be recharged itself. The WAVe also features an external full-size USB port allowing users to charge just about any other desired device.

CEO of PolarPro, Jeff Overall, stated:

“All of our product designs have their start in our daily lives whether that is the need to shoot better POV footage while out exploring the world or finding a way to hike into the wilderness with a drone, and the WAVe is the next example of that tradition. We wanted to ensure everyone could take their music anywhere while making sure that investment was protected and always powered up, and that’s exactly what the WAVe accomplishes.”

Those who back the project will receive the Universal WAVe Case and Contoured WAVe Case starting at $39. Estimated delivery is currently May 2017. WAVe’s Kickstarter is set to close on March 10th.
