Invertex, a provider of scan-to-fit guided shopping for footwear and an OurCrowd First funding company, announced on Thursday the launch of its new FeedID Ecosystem, which is described as a cognitive solution for in-store and online shopping.
According to Invertex, FeedID includes the new Launch-Pad, an in-store autonomous unit that can 3D scan a precise measure of a shopper’s feet and send it directly to their phones. The company also noted that its match engine guides shoppers to all the shoes in the store, with personalized information and reviews. David Bleicher, Invertex’s Founder and CEO, stated:
“Giving the power of informed choice to customers to make the best decision when they are at a store creates great value. But really, even greater customer value accrues the moment that a customer owns their virtual FeetID model and can always shop with confidence while being recognized and rewarded for their loyalty by their retailers online and in the store.”
The company added:
“By providing a holistic end-to-end solution, including in-store, online and mobile app components, the Invertex eco-system tackles these two problems simultaneously. The immediate results of implementing the solution are three: in-store customers adding an online component to their consuming habits. Improved shopper confidence online which immediately translates into higher conversion rates, and at last, a dramatic reduction of costly returns.”
The launch of FeedID comes just after Invertex announced the closing of its $2 million seed funding round, which led by Israel-based crowdfunding platform OurCrowd through its OurCrowd First early stage fund. At the round’s closing, Bleicher revealed:
