DSTLD, the online only clothing retailer that provides high quality fashion at a super competitive price, is back once again on SeedInvest to raise additional funding using Reg A+.
During their last crowdfunding campaign, DSTLD raised $1.7 million. The money raised has been leveraged to boost sales and add new lines to their growing product list. DSTLD started with jeans but has since moved on providing a wider array of clothing basics. I must admit, I am a bit of a fan of the price / quality paradigm this online retailer has put together.
Today, DSTLD has generated $9 million in sales and 54,000, since inception. This is an increase from $3 million a year ago June. During the first half of 2017, sale growth rocketed 192%. This growth, was helped by the larger management team DSTLD was able to hire following the first round.
For this second Reg A+, DSTLD is seeking $2 million along with some investor perks including:
- 30% off (through 2017) to participants contributing to the first $1 million raised
- 20% off (through 2017) to participants contributing to the second $1 million raised
Crowdfund Insider wrote how DSTLD was a “perfect fit” for Reg A+ late in 2016 The first DSTLD Reg A+ went live in June 2016 with an estimated pre-money company valuation of $22 Million. DSTLD is now offering Preferred Equity at a pre-money valuation of $30 Million. They are taking non-binding indications of interest now.
