Success: Bolt Mobility Closes Seedrs Round With Over €3.2 Million in Funding

Netherlands-based scooter company, Bolt Mobility, completed its equity crowdfunding round on Seedrs earlier this week, which raised a grand total of €3,225,551 in funding. The company originally sought to raise €1.5 million for its product, AppScooter.

As previously reported, The AppScooter is described as a scooter that accelerates 150% faster and goes up to 400km with our modular electric drivetrain. With a 7″ touchscreen and handlebar controls, Bolt Mobility claims that the AppScooter is the first scooter in the world to safely run Android apps in its cockpit. The company reported:

“AppScooter is the first scooter in the world with a completely modular battery pack. It has the capacity to fit up to 6 battery modules, giving you the choice of a range from 60 to 400 km on a single charge. The modules are packed with commercial automotive grade Lithium-Ion cells from Panasonic to ensure efficiency and reliability, taking you wherever you need to go quickly and safely. Not sure how many modules you need or worried that your living situation may change? No problem, up- or downgrade your range on demand whenever you want and we will come to you and install or remove the battery modules that you requested.”

The AppScooter will be available starting at 2990. The company added that in an effort to deliver a high-quality product at an affordable price, we are actually building our own large-scale fully automated production line with the capacity for up to 100.000 scooters per year. Funds from the campaign will be used to continue AppScooter’s development and expansion.
