Startupbootcamp’s Hartford InsurTech Hub Preps for Inaugural Demo Day & Collaborates with Clyde & Co to Act as Exclusive Legal Partner

Hartford InsurTech Hub, powered by Startupbootcamp, announces its latest collaboration with international law firm, Clyde & Co. The London-headquartered firm will act as Hartford InsurTech Hub’s exclusive legal partner, providing Hartford program startups with needed legal advice.

Clyde & Co, a global law firm with insurance sector expertise covering a broad range of corporate and insurance regulatory areas, including entity licensing and products, aims to provide comprehensive coverage of the issues that are most pressing for the startups. These challenges might include, but are not limited to: incorporating in different jurisdictions, as not all of the startups are US based; and direction on looking to do business in a highly regulated industry, such as insurance.

Clyde & Co joins the list of respected industry names working with Hartford InsurTech Hub, in addition to Crawford & Company: Cigna, The Hartford, Travelers, USAA, White Mountains and CTNext.

Hartford InsurTech Hub’s inaugural Demo Day will take place next month on April 18th, showcasing the 10 startups in fields including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics and Natural Language Processing combined with Cyber Security, Smart Home and Health Insurance.
