Seedrs Forms New Partnership with Commercial Finance Broker Finpoint

UK based Investment crowdfunding platform Seedrs has announced a new partnership with Finpoint, a commercial finance broker that provides financing solutions to SME’s. Seedrs says the partnership will support businesses scaling and boost investment into UK businesses.

According to the agreement, Seedrs will gain access to growth financing opportunities on the Finpoint platform and with its partners like the Federation of Small Business’s FSB Funding Platform. Finpoint will promote investment opportunities listed on the Seedrs site. The mutually beneficially relationship should provide greater exposure to Seedrs listed companies while exposing unique investment opportunities to the Finpiont network. Finpoint seeks to redefine business funding by combining hundreds of finance options with impartial advice.

Adam Reeve, Investor Manager at Seedrs, explained they are always looking for new methods to support investment in early stage businesses;

“Our strategic  partnership with Finpoint will widen the support offering to those businesses, whilst at the same time leverage their network of investors to further drive investment into British businesses.”

Rainer Plentl, CEO at Finpoint, said they were pleased to be partnering with UK’s top funder of private companies;

“This unique partnership will allow us to provide our technology-led, high quality customer service to a new segment of high-growth businesses. With as many as 50% of high growth businesses being hampered in their ability to scale up due to a lack of access to funding, we believe this is an exciting time for Seedrs and Finpoint to collaborate in order to better connect businesses with available investment options.”

To date, Seedrs has funded over 600 deals and has had over £330 million invested on the platform. All investments made through Seedrs offer voting shares to investors and use professional-grade subscription agreements. This ensures that investors get the same level of protection that angel investors and venture capitalists enjoy.
