Spanish startup WOOM, a data app that empowers women to maximize chances of pregnancy, is overfunding and poised to easily surpass £400,000 on its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. Just last week, WOOM celebrated hitting its £300K initial goal. More than 77 investors have stepped up to show support for this venture already backed by Venture Capital firms and Angels from USA and Europe. Pre-valued at £4,382,890, 8.31% equity is being offered during the campaign. Funding will be used to grow and expand the WOOM app.

Founded in Madrid in 2015 by CEO Laurence Fontinoy and COO Clelia Morales, WOOM now has more than 400,000 users who have achieved 50,000 pregnancies with the help of the mobile app. Users receive support through an engaged community, a chat with doctors and a platform of services.
WOOM’s digital team possesses international experience in US, UK, Spain and LATAM. The WOOM app collects women’s lifestyle and cycle data that WOOM’s engine uses to serve very specific recommendations and tips that educate women’s about their body and cycles. WOOM then calculates daily chances of pregnancy, cycles calendar; users receive support through an engaged community and fertility services platform. According to the campaign, WOOM identifies fertile window and calculates daily percentage of pregnancy based on data such: period regularity, age, IMC (weight/height), smoking & lifestyle habits and it also delivers personalized content. Users also receive support through an engaged community and a platform of fertility services.
