UK Fintech Centtrip Adds USD & EUR to Card Base Currencies

On Tuesday, UK fintech Centtrip announced it was now adding USD and EUR to card base currencies. Founded in 2013, Centtrip describes itself as a fintech pioneer that introducing “new dimensions” to the banking landscape with its smart technology. More than 16,000 companies and affluent individuals, along with over 350 music artists use Centtrip’s multi-currency account, app, and multi-currency Mastercard.

According to Centtrip, in response to existing clients’ request, the company has developed its card proposition and added alternative base-currency functionality. Users may now choose their preferred base currency at the time of ordering cards. They can have a mix of different base-currency cards associated with their account.

“All card-related fees used to be applied in British Pounds. Now they will be shown in your chosen base currency, avoiding the need for currency conversion and making your statements clearer. This new functionality will save you even more time when reconciling card expenditure, making reporting as efficient as possible.”

Commenting on the recent currency update, Jim Warner, Director of Operations at Centtrip, added:

“Our corporate clients love our multi-currency cards and over the past six months we had a huge demand for a different base currency for simplicity and flexibility.
