Crypto marketplace Coinbase has added a new feature. According to a blog post by Coinbase CEO Zeeshan Feroz, their users may now spend their BTC, ETH and more on e-gift card.
Coinbase has partnered with WeGift to enable gift cards accepted at retailers like Uber and Ticketmaster.
Feroz explains that users purchasing an e-gift card will have zero withdrawal fees along with bonuses on some e-gifts.
This service is available today in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Australia. Coinbase expects to add other countries soon.
Feroz states;
“Making crypto easier to use, trade and spend is a core part of our efforts to improve the customer experience. With the launch of e-gift cards, customers now have the option to spend their crypto balances, realising its value to buy tangible things or experiences.”
