The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia or “MFAA” is the national body representing finance brokers, mortgage managers, lenders, aggregator/broking groups and other industry participants, in the mortgage and finance industry in Australia.
At a State level, the MFAA also recognised three of Prospa’s business development managers, with Simon Winters and Roberto Sanz winning Queensland and VIC/TAS state Business Development Manager of the year awards respectively – against BDMs from all categories of lender. Prospa’s Franco Bombardieri was a finalist in the VIC/TAS category.
Matt Bauld, General Manager Sales and Business Development at Prospa said this was a testiment to their network of relationships they have built with their broker partners and finding the best solutions for their customers.
“It’s an important milestone for the Fintech industry. This is the first time fintech lenders have been recognised as a category in this year’s MFAA Excellence Awards and we appreciate the support of our peak bodies like MFAA to build confidence in the fintech industry so it can continue to grow. “
Prospa has originated over $500 million in loans to date to 12,000 small business owners. The online lender claims a 97% satisfaction rate.
