Igor Senra, Managing Director at Wirecard Brazil stated that the new financial features are part of a larger project that will allow customers to use the money from their sales in various ways, all through one platform, regardless of the business model. He also explained:

“Besides the option to have a new kind of bank account, we will be able to issue cards and offer the possibility of loans later this year.”

The news about Wirecard Brazil’s launch comes just a few weeks after Wirecard announced its new partnership with German direct bank comdirect to facilitate contactless payment through wearables. Through the partnership, the duo is offering contactless payment through wearable devices during the 2018 German Beach Volleyball Championships, which is taking place in Timmendorfer Strand from August 31st to September 2nd.
