Seven Bro7hers Brewery Returns to Crowdcube: Now Seeking 500,000 in Funding

Just a little over two years after securing nearly £200,000 through its first Crowdcube round, UK-based Seven Bro7hers Brewery has returned to the equity crowdfunding platform seeking £500,000 in funding. Established in 2014, Seven Bro7her described itself as a family craft beer brewery that believes there is a still a “beer fear” so it has “cut through the paraphernalia and welcome the ‘craft beer curious.’” The company stated:

Our vision for SEVEN BRO7HERS is committed to becoming one of the best Craft Beer breweries in the world. After one year of trading we believed we were onto something big. When we first started thinking about starting a brewery in 2013, we focused on making the beer as good as it could possibly be. We wanted to brew great craft beers full of flavour and be distinctive in our marketplace.”

The brewery also reported that since introducing its Bars in December 2016, revenue has increased from £204k to £708k (EBITDA -£51k). Following its Crowdcube raise in July 2016, Seven Bro7her opened its first beerhouse in December 2016 and moved into a new brewery in Oct 2017.

We have gained listings with Booths supermarkets and Co-op stores as well as supplying to restaurant group TRG, T3 Manchester airport and Manchester Piccadilly station, providing further brand exposure. We also sell to the expanding chain, Hotel Football, as part of their partnership programme. We supply to Mission Mars group, hotel chain Melia Group Hotels and more.”

Funds from the latest Crowdcube round will be used to continue the growth and development of Seven Bro7her’s breweries. Since launching, the campaign has successfully secured more than £100,000 from over 200 investors. It is set to close at the end of November.
