Nutri-Chef Now Seeking Funds Through Crowdfunding Round on Nvsted

U.S.-based crowdfunding platform Nvsted announced on Friday the launch of Nutri-Chef Gluten-Free Foods, LLC’s new crowdfunding round.

Founded in 2015, Nutri-Chef was founded by Ken Crecelius, who aims to combat the common perception that gluten-free food often lacks the flavor found in other foods. The company reported its line of gluten-free soups is purported to be made with all fresh ingredients, including meat, vegetables, and spices, which make the soups nutrient-rich and flavorful.

“Ken was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and began eating gluten-free foods but found they were tasteless and bland with textures that didn’t meet expectations. The negative perception of taste in the gluten-free industry is widely recognized among consumers. Though Ken’s diagnosis turned out to be incorrect, he still recognized the benefits of a gluten-free diet and decided to start a company producing flavorful gluten-free foods to ensure those who require or prefer such a diet have appetizing options to choose from and that they truly enjoy.”

While sharing more details about the company and the funding round, Crecelius, stated:

“It’s not easy to start a new company. It’s a difficult journey with many partners and helpers along the way. One of the most difficult parts is attracting funding. I’m pleased to be partnering with Nvsted on an exciting crowdfunding platform which directly matches investors with companies.”

Funds from the crowdfunding campaign will be used to continue the growth and development of Nutri-Chef’s products. The round is now open for investments as small as $205.
