Petit Vour, an award-winning monthly beauty box + lifestyle shop for the modern, ethical woman, showcases a luxurious collection of 100% cruelty-free, plant-based and non-toxic products. Petit Vour Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Madeline Alcott and Ryan Miner have synced with Wefunder to crowdfund a Future Equity Agreement with a $6 million valuation cap. At this writing, the minimum target was easily surpassed and over $582K has been secured from 888+ investors toward Petit Vour’s $1M maximum target goal.
“We began Petit Vour 6 years ago, at the dawn of the subscription era, when finding cruelty-free and vegan beauty products meant visiting your local health food store for a limited, and often lackluster selection. An upgrade was essential,” explained the campaign. “High-performing, animal-free, and non-toxic cosmetics and skincare should be accessible to everyone! To that end, we scoured the globe for brands on a mission, curated to our impeccable standard, and began our beauty box in the spring of 2013. We named it after our favorite French confectionary with a modern twist — Petit Vour: a delectable selection of luscious vegan beauty.”
According to the Crème de la Cruelty-Free beauty startup, here are some reasons for investment in the Wefunder campaign:
- PROVEN SALES: $8M+ lifetime revenue; expected $3M revenue for 2018
- PROVEN GROWTH: 42-152% year-over-year growth
- PROVEN PROFITABILITY: Net income positive 5 consecutive years since launch in 2013.
- MARKET ADVANTAGE: Largest customer base in both the vegan and non-toxic beauty box markets; over 85,000 orders and 20,000 customers in the last 12 months
- STRONG CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: Over 76,000 unique customer reviews across our product selection.
- GROWTH POTENTIAL: $60 billion U.S. beauty market, with over 50% expressing interest in cruelty-free and plant-based beauty.
The company is offering investor perks during its funding round, ranging from limited edition Petit Vour t-shirts ($150+) to a private dinner & meeting for the investor and a guest with founders Ryan and Madeline at Austin HQ to discuss company direction, domestic flight and hotel included ($10,000).
“Petit Vour represents only the best in ethical shopping—the Crème de la Cruelty-Free as we call it—so every product is expert vetted for high efficacy and visual aesthetic,” added the campaign. “We’re on track for $3 million in sales this year and have been net income positive 5 consecutive years since launch in 2013…Soon after launching, it was clear our subscribers didn’t just crave the once-per-month discovery, but needed a modern e-retail shop that collectively held all of their new favorites. In the winter of 2013, we launched our shop to resounding success and we’ve since been branching out, diversifying our beauty offering and bringing in wellness goods, fashion, and accessories – all curated to our exclusive standard.”
