Nordea Bank and Fidesmo announced on Thursday they are offering Fidesmo Pay to Nordea Mastercard holders in Sweden. According to the duo, Fidesmo Pay will be available for all customers with the bank’s Mastercard. The companies also revealed:
“Wearables that connect with Fidesmo, provided by Nordic fashion brands such as Triwa, Ur&Penn and Berg Watches, are sold in over 100 stores throughout Sweden and online. Today and onwards these can now be connected to all Nordea’s Mastercard holders in Sweden.”
While sharing more details about the partnership, Mattias Eld, CEO of Fidesmo, stated:
“Fidesmo makes it easy for banks to offer a safe and convenient payment solution to their customers through Fidesmo Pay. We are extremely happy to collaborate with Nordea and to be part of the Nordea Wallet offering.”
Erik Zingmark, Head of Transaction Banking at Nordea, went on to add:
