House Fintech Task Force’s First Hearing is Tomorrow, Next One Scheduled for July 25 on Alt Data for Credit Scoring

The House Financial Services Committee Task Force on Financial Technology is scheduled to hold its first meeting tomorrow (June 25) at 2 PM.

Chaired by Representative Stephen Lynch, the hearing is entitled, “Overseeing the Fintech Revolution: Domestic and International Perspectives on Fintech Regulation.”

Unfortunately, as of this writing, no individuals are listed as testifying on behalf of the Fintech Task Force.

The next meeting of the Fintech Task Force has been booked. Scheduled to take place on July 25 at 10 AM, the Task Force will tackle the use of alternative data in credit scoring.

All hearings are live-streamed on the House Financial Services Committee website.

  • Thursday, July 25 at 10:00 AM — The Task Force on Financial Technology will convene a hearing entitled, “Examining the Use of Alternative Data in Underwriting and Credit Scoring to Expand Access to Credit.”
