Global fintech InvestCloud announced on Monday it has appointed Rebeca Sanchez Sarmiento as its new CFO. According to the company, Sanchez Sarmiento is a Wall Street veteran and comes to InvestCloud from ATTOM Data Solutions, where she served as CFO and took the lead in building an organization able to capitalize upon private equity funding and major acquisitions. Sanchez Sarmiento has held a variety of senior finance roles within Smart & Final, Deutsche Bank, and Citigroup.
As part of her position, Sanchez Sarmiento will be building on the finance and operations team to develop a financial management structure that enables InvestCloud to continue its growth, both domestically and internationally. She will also be responsible for aligning InvestCloud’s long term strategic goals with its financial performance.
Speaking about her appointment, Sanchez Sarmiento stated:
“I started my career in the financial industry and spent 12 years working within it. I’m excited to be returning to my roots – but to also go beyond. It was InvestCloud’s dedication to innovation and technology in financial services that attracted me to this role, along with its strong commitment to using data and analytics to shape business decisions. John Wise and the senior team have a strong track record of building successful technology companies. This reputation says a lot about their expertise and instils great confidence about our long-term journey at InvestCloud.”
Wise, who is Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of InvestCloud, added:
“The rapid global growth we have seen over the past year means we have needed to make strategic investments in InvestCloud’s leadership team. Our goal is to IPO the company during the coming years, and Rebeca is the perfect fit as she brings extensive financial industry expertise, data-savviness and analytical acumen to InvestCloud. These skills are incredibly important to us – this is why we are confident Rebeca will make a great addition to our senior leadership team. We are looking forward to welcoming her to the Pacific Design Center.”
