Equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs announced on Monday it has formed a new partnership with GS1 UK to help support small business growth in the UK. GS1 UK describes itself as a community of more than 38,000 members working in the retail, healthcare, SME and Marketplaces.

GS1 UK reported to foster SMEs who are at the stage where they require capital to either get their product off the ground or make that transition to the next stage of growth, it has decided to collaborate with Seedrs. While sharing details about the partnership, Tom Horbye, Head of Campaigns at Seedrs, stated:
