OurCrowd, the leading global investment crowdfunding platform, has announced a presentation by Dr. Ferid Murad, 1a 998 Nobel prize winner in medicine, to take place at its upcoming Global Investor Summit (Israel – February 13). Dr. Murad will address the topic of China’s Coronavirus and how technology can help prevent the development of disease.
According to OurCrowd, Dr. Murad recently joined the board of SaNOtize, an OurCrowd portfolio company using new technology to treat skin and upper respiratory diseases with an infectious component to them. Dr. Murad will be discussing superbugs, the danger they pose to humanity, and new methods developed by SaNOtize that avoid the use of antibiotics.

- Eyal Gura, Co-Founder and chairman of Zebra Medical Vision, which has secured 4 FDA clearances for its AI-powered imaging analytics platform
- Uzi Sofer, CEO and chairman of Alpha Tau, whose Alpha Dart targeted cancer radiation treatment showed tumor shrinkage in 100% of cases in its first clinical trial
