Global Payments Provider PaySafe Announces Expansion of Strategic Partnership With Mastercard

Paysafe Group, a global payments provider, announced on Thursday it has expanded its strategic partnership with Mastercard. Paysafe reported that the new agreement was designed to support its growth and card acceptance in the European Economic Area (EEA) with a particular focus on Paysafe’s card issuing solutions, including its Skrill Prepaid Mastercard and NETELLER Net+ Prepaid Mastercard.

Also through the new agreement, Mastercard will support Paysafe’s product development, which includes digital enablement for its services. The focus of the new partnership will include enabling digital payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Speaking about the new partnership agreement,  Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill, NETELLER and Income Access at Paysafe, stated:
