Ample Foods, a U.S. beverage company that specializes in creating a complete meal replacement drink that combines the latest nutrition science with wholesome, real food ingredients, has raised more than $520,000 through its latest Reg CF round on crowdfunding platform Republic. The company originally sought to raise a minimum of $50,000 and has attracted 1,110 Republic investors.
Founded in 2015, Ample Foods states it believes that health, convenience, and great taste shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. The company explained:
“While most quick meal solutions are loaded with sugar, artificial sweeteners, and unbalanced nutrition, Ample provides an easy, real food meal in a bottle to help you eat optimally on your busiest days—or anytime you need a fast, healthy meal.”
While sharing more details about the company’s beverages, Connor Young, Founder and CEO of Ample Foods, stated:
“I see so many people feel challenged to incorporate healthy meals into their busy lives or even understand what is ‘healthy.’ Our goal is to offer optimal nutrition that’s completely simplified.”
Ample Foods previously raised $774,164 through its last Republic campaign from 1232 investors and claims since the last round it has become a financially sustainable, profitable business with a $3 million yearly revenue; $381 rev.customer primarily from a subscription model. The company also raised $5 million from Slow Ventures and Compound.
“Long-term, we intend to shape massive change in the food industry—forcing companies to level up in their nutrition, ingredient quality, environmental impact, and transparency. Through economies of scale, we can also reduce the cost of healthy food and make convenient, optimal nutrition accessible to all.”
Ample Food’s campaign is set to close on May 17th.
