UK E-Commerce Platform Moteefe Raises $11 Million Through Series B Round Led By BGF

Moteefe, a UK-based e-commerce platform for on-demand production of merchandise, has reportedly secured $11 million through its Series B funding round, which was led by BGF. Founded in 2014 and launched in 2016, Moteefe describes itself as a global print-on-demand that enables entrepreneurs, brands, and influencers to create and sell customized, personalized merchandise online.

“We are an international business with offices in London Victoria, Lisbon and remotely all across the world; we’re a fast-paced, hard-working bunch – but a lot of fun, too. Providing all the heavy lifting and expertise to help you create and market successful products, we ensure that nothing stands in the way of a great idea.”

According to TechCrunch, To date, Moteefe notably has more than 5,000 retailers. The company also shared with the media outlet:

“Retailers of all sizes have total flexibility: they can use the Moteefe platform either as a fully integrated end to end service, or just pick and choose the parts they need. And as Moteefe is white-labeled, the retailer owns the customer relationship and can use the data to drive repeat sales.”

Mathijs Eefting, CEO of Moteefe, revealed more details about the investment by adding:

“This increased demand enabled us to grow our team and increase our production throughput, benefiting our entire network and creating high-quality jobs internationally. We have moved beyond our original goal to help anyone set up a store and sell globally. We now are able to support innovative retailers of all sizes to respond to entirely new e-commerce demands and opportunities.”
