US-based Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR), a tech solutions provider, revealed on Tuesday (June 1, 2021) that it has hired Ian Strudwick to serve as the company’s GM and Head of Asia Pacific (APAC). Ian’s appointment is effective immediately.
His appointment has come after David Ingleson was hired to work as Broadridge‘s Chief Operating Officer for the APAC region earlier this year. Ian will be focused on enhancing the firm’s APAC leadership team as the multi-national Fintech continues to support Asia-Pacific region customers and further expands its business operations.
Ian brings over 20 years of professional experience in the financial services and tech sector, with more than 15 years served in key senior management roles for international and local teams across capital markets, trade finance and various other business services.
Ian joins Broadridge from TD Securities, where he had been working as MD and Head of Global Operations and Business Services for the Asia-Pacific region.
Ian will now be tasked with leading Broadridge’s expansion into Asian markets. He will be focused on supporting the Fintech firm’s ongoing growth in major APAC markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and Japan. Ian will be expected to take ownership of the firm’s overall expansion strategy and business development in the region.
Ian Strudwick, now the General Manager and Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), stated:
“Broadridge is a global firm at the forefront of innovative next-generation technologies and, as such, very well-positioned to support companies at a time when we are seeing an evolutionary leap in the speed of business technology adoption.
