Digital Transformation: UK’s Wesleyan Bank Reveals that Australia’s Sandstone Technology Is a Digital Partner

UK’s Wesleyan Bank reveals that Australia-based Fintech firm Sandstone Technology is now a  digital partner to enhance its platform for individuals and small business clients.

Sandstone Technology front-end virtual banking solutions offer an intuitive banking experience across multiple channels for personal and business applications.

Equipped with Sandstone’s origination solution, BankFast Apply and virtual banking service product BankFast, it eliminates the need for manual processing and evaluation tasks, automates key application processes and opens real-time savings accounts.

This allows banking platforms to address demand for savings products and enhance online services without the need to hire additional staff members.

Phase 1 of the implementation mainly focuses on the personal banking aspects of the initiative, followed by the SME / business banking requirements that will be a part of Phase 2.

Doug Hesketh, Director of Transformation & Technology at Wesleyan Bank, stated:

“Implementation of Sandstone Technology’s digital solution will have a huge and beneficial impact on both our colleagues and, most importantly, our customers. With this technology, our customers will be able to open a new savings account. Even if you manage your existing account, you can easily and safely engage with us online, exaggerating the excitement this has created among your colleagues and the positive changes you expect it to bring.“

Ross Watts, Chief Customer Officer, Sandstone Technology, remarked:

“We are very proud to work with Wesleyan Bank to embark on a journey of digital transformation. The impact of Covid-19 highlights the clear need for an accessible and simple digital banking solution. Combining Sandstone’s deep expertise with Wesleyan Bank’s history of building lifelong relationships with its customers, end users can expect a highly relevant digital experience.“

Wesleyan Bank introduced the savings application process and internet banking portal for new clients this month. Following this announcement, they are inviting account holders to enroll in an improved Internet banking service.
