SaveLend Group Adds Executive to Help with Expansion Plans

SaveLend Group has announced the hiring of Olle Asplund as Chief Product Officer as part of an expansion plan. According to SaveLend, Asplund will
focus on business development, strategically as well as operationally. Starting in April, He will also be in charge of structuring new and existing products and deals from a commercial and legal perspective.

SaveLend is an investment platform makes it possible for investors to gain exposure to credit, such as SME, real estate, consumer credit, and factoring in both SEK and EUR. The platform consists of a complete billing system, containing, among other things, accounts receivable, notification, and financing solutions.

Asplund was previously with the Fintech Rocker, where he was Chief Legal Officer. Before that, he worked at the law firm Gernandt & Danielsson for eight years. Asplund was also SaveLend Group’s legal advisor during 2014-2018, which means he is already well acquainted with the Group’s operations.

“I worked with Olle during SaveLend’s start-up years and it feels fantastic to be able to tie up his expertise to us. The recruitment shows our clear focus on continued expansion and Olle will be a key player in our team,” said Ludwig Pettersson, CEO of SaveLend Group.

Asplund, who will report directly to the CEO, said SaveLend has has had fantastic development and is on an extremely exciting growth journey.

The peer-to-peer lender has operations in Sweden, Poland and Finland. For the financial year 2020, revenues amounted to SEK 56.4 million, an increase of 26% from the previous year.
