Matchmaking: Anchorage Now Offers Networking Platform for Crypto Firms, Financial Services

Revealed last week,  Anchorage, the first digital asset bank with a national bank charter, has announced “Capital Strategy” designed to connect crypto firms and financial institutions.

The new services are described as a unique path for networking between establishment finance and emerging digital asset firms.

To quote a blog post:

“Anchorage sits at the intersection of traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem, providing windows — and connections — into both worlds. Our ability to connect crypto organizations with financial institutions helps to build bridges between DeFi and traditional investment, supporting the growing institutional interest in digital assets.”

The executive leading the new sector, Nicole Civitello, Head of Capital Strategy at Anchorage Digital, stated:

“The team will leverage extensive crypto-native experience with deep relationships in the institutional allocator community to help existing clients, across hedge funds, VC’s and protocols access potential partners, and will also play a key role in crypto education for allocators.”

Anchorage noted that while crypto may be borderless you can not always say the same about relationships. Therefore they plan on enabling personal connections, events and more to help forge global partnerships.
