WealthKernel Raises £6 Million Series A

WealthKernel has raised £6 million in a Series A funding round, according to the company. Details on the investment were not disclosed.

The funding round was led by ETFS Capital with the participation of XTX Ventures.

Karan Shanmugarajah, CEO of WealthKernel, said the funding came at a key moment in the company’s growth:

“We have been expanding our services rapidly over the last few months, with our newest entry into the US equities market. The new funding will help fuel our commitment to strengthening our market presence and continue to bring innovative solutions to the wealth management industry.”

WealthKernel is a Fintech that offers investment infrastructure to those interested in providing digital investment services. The company provides onboarding as well as brokering, trading and custody. The company is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

Martyn James, CEO of ETFs Capital, said they have watched the company grow since they first invested in 2018, and the demand for wealth and asset management has “never has been higher.”
