Plaid is marking an “exciting” chapter for the Fintech firm as they recently welcomed Jen Taylor as the first President.
As noted in a blog post by Plaid, Jen is considered to be an experienced product leader who joins them from Cloudflare where she “spent seven years as Chief Product Officer and previously she led product initiatives at Salesforce, Meta, and Adobe.”
Jen’s experience scaling products to “meet increasing customer demand will be invaluable as they continue to expand our platform to support ongoing innovation in financial services.”
Over the past two years Plaid says they have “added new payment, lending, and anti-fraud capabilities on top of our core account linking and onboarding solutions.”
The demand for these new products has “been even greater than we anticipated.”
It’s clear the growth and cost savings that they’re “unlocking for their customers is improving outcomes for their end users and their businesses, and Plaid take that responsibility seriously.”
The firm’s management says they are now confident Jen is the right person “to help them do even more to support the more than 8,500 companies we are fortunate to call customers.”
As they got to know Jen and spoke with many who have had the pleasure of working with her, it became clear to Plaid’s management that she “possesses intellectual humility centered on an obsession with customer needs.”
As digital finance becomes the norm across every industry, from banking and lending to auto to real estate to retail and more, this approach will “be important in shaping the future of our network.”
Zach Perret from Plaid concluded:
“I look forward to working in partnership with Jen as we meet new opportunities and challenges as an industry. While the only thing certain is uncertainty, it’s clear we’re still in the early stages of building the future of financial services and I can’t wait for what’s next.”
