DealMaker Announces New Chief Marketing Officer

DealMaker, a tech-enabled broker-dealer specializing in online capital formation, has announced a new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Jonathan Stidd.

DealMaker co-founder and CEO Rebecca Kacaba said that Stidd’s track record of working with issuers to raise over $600 million has helped to define the crowdfunding industry.

“He leads with vision and drive. His expertise, innovation, and strong character are exactly what DealMaker needs to lead the charge into a new era of online capital raising.”

Stidd is expected to help boost DealMaker in its next phase of growth while enhancing its market presence. DealMaker reports that it has already facilitated over $2 billion in funding under the various exemptions making it one of the largest crowdfunding platforms in the world.

DealMaker acquired Stidd’s company Reach in 2022, which became the company’s in-house marketing firm. Stidd previously co-founded Ridge Growth Agency in 2017, quickly establishing it as a top digital marketing firm for the securities crowdfunding industry. DealMaker shares that Ridge Growth Agency helped its clients raise hundreds of millions of dollars in funding.

Stidd commented on his new role at DealMaker describing it as the highlight of his career.

“I’m excited to leverage my experience to further innovate our marketing strategies and help more founders realize their dreams. DealMaker is at the forefront of online capital raising, and I am thrilled to be part of a team that is not only setting but exceeding industry standards.”
