Euronet (NASDAQ: EEFT) and Fintech Galaxy have announced a partnership to offer Open Banking services in the MENA region and the African continent. The service includes digital banking or Banking as a Service, as well as offerings for Fintechs, merchants, and more. Services include payments, cards, tokenization, wallets, etc.
The partnership will see an integration directly with consumer accounts that aims to boost performance while reducing fees.
Euronet will also be providing fraud detection services.
Mohamed Mousa, Vice President of Euronet Middle East, said the company is positioned to “transform the region’s payment ecosystem” while providing “real-time fraud protection.”
Euronet, headquartered in Kansas, was founded in Central Europe in 1994 and operates an extensive payments network, including over 53,000 ATMs
