The funding round saw participation from notable investors including Serac Ventures, Hustle Fund, Telegraph Hill Capital, Capacity Capital, Harvest Ventures, RTL Capital, Next Wave, Mistral, Brian Payne and Aaron Hashim of Furnished Finder, and the Pitch Fund founded by the creators of The Pitch.
The newly raised capital will support FutureMoney’s mission to democratize access to wealth-building opportunities for families across the United States.
The company plans to enhance its market presence through strategic user acquisition initiatives, leveraging social media platforms, influencer partnerships, curated affiliates, earned media, and a dual-sided incentive program.
Additionally, FutureMoney aims to expand its reach through community marketing strategies, referral and affiliate programs, and monthly webinars.
Founded in 2023 by fintech veterans Philip Barrar and Dave Fortin, FutureMoney offers an innovative approach to family investing with its signature product, the Junior Roth IRA™.
This proprietary, tax-advantaged account utilizes 529 plans that can transition to Roth IRA accounts after 15 years, a feature made possible by recent changes in the SECURE 2.0 Act.
The platform enables parents to set up accounts for their children, define investment goals, and establish automatically recurring deposits with minimal weekly contributions.
